How long does it typically take to finish a painting?
3-6 weeks depending on the complexity
Will I have a chance to make changes to my painting?
Upon request, I can email photo updates twice before completion. Changes should be requested upon the receipt of the first set of photos. Only color adjustments can be made on the second photo update. If major changes are requested, additional fees may have to be negotiated.

Do you only paint dogs?
No, I feature dogs, but I can paint cats, horses and other family pets.
Can you frame it for me?
No. I do not offer framing services. I only use 1.5" gallery wrapped canvas and I paint the edges as well so that you can put it on the wall immediately. I add a wire across the back, so that it is ready to hang, without a frame.
Can you paint in a photo realistic style?
No. I consider my style to be loose and painterly, so that the finished product looks like a painting, not a photograph.
Can I take the image from the painting that I commission to put on a product to sell?
No. As an artist, I retain the rights, with the copyright intact, unless we negotiate a transfer of rights. You cannot use any of my imagery for commercial purposes without permission.
Can I share your illustrations, photos, paintings on my blog or other social media?
Yes, with proper attribution and a link back to my website. Please contact me if you have questions.
